Jerome D'Angelo

I’ve always been fascinated by the ubiquitous rectangle. Much of what I do is isolated, played, presented and framed this way.

Assemblage - the embedded box - has been the recurring precept of my work, along with what happens when I break that plane in collage or painting.

My art derives from amalgamations, collections of details that form a single entity. Each summons forth a moment or tells a story, a reality embellished by my imagination, experience and perspective; a conversation made visual.
