Artist's Statement

The central focus of my work has been the human figure There is no other subject which has been as fascinating for me as an artist. I try to create and capture its many moods and feelings in whatever medium I use, whether it be pant, charcoal, pen and ink or graphite.

Educated at Carnegie Mellon University, University of Hartford Art School, Champlain College, and Chautauqua Institute of Art. Aline has worked as an art instructor in various private schools, and as consultant for many community organizations, including the Three Rivers Arts Festival. Her work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions, and is represented in numerous private collections. Aline is a member of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Group.
